Have you guys noticed how the media is reporting every shooting now? We are going to start hearing about shooting after shooting, you watch. I think we will see one of the biggest attacks on the 2nd ever.
It's not just the votes for Johnson which wouldn't have been enough to sway the election itself. It's the energy that went into fighting Romney and creating division within the anti-Socialists. Obama mobilized his base and kept them energized through bullshit like the Occupy movement and their misleading propaganda about "1%" and "99%". The anti-Socialists were not united or mobilized. Some of you said Romney wasn't conservative enough, the Republicans were the same as the Democrats and a lot of other equine fecal matter and you're still rationalizing your discontent.
Rationalize away -- the fact of the matter is that a fragmented slim majority will lose to a unified slim minority every time -- both historically and in game theory. Perotistas gave us Clinton and the 1994 Assault Weapon Ban. Otherwise moderates and conservatives who care more about some single issue (e.g., smoking pot, free condoms, a mythical war on women, NPR funding, racial loyalty, unionism, etc.) will give us the 2014 All Weapons Ban.
I think having a 2 year long election cycle burnt everyone out as well. You can't bash the same story day after day for years on end and expect the people to be excited about it, they're just excited it's fukin over.
Then bring the party to me, instead of pulling the party away from me for the more "moderate" votes. You want me in the party? Include me. You want me to accept a flaming pile of shit in the name of "unity", piss off.
Edited for grammar and punctuation. Also to add.
I agreed with the Democrap platform on just as many issues as I did the Republican platform. THAT is friggin sad.
its sad that we fear our government when it should fear us
