@Gunner - I had one , great bike (as long as it worked). The bikes have electrical bugs and the brands is not very customer sevice oriented. I had the the hardest time getting service on it and parts. Also the fuel maps on it are terrible for altitude where we live. I lost confidence in it and sold it a year after I bought it. There are better Italians out there if that is what your after...look for a nice used monster instead.

Nice DRZ. Always wanted one.
I could not help myself. I have always wanted this bike since they first came out. I finally found one but had already bought my Ninja 1000. My wife told me to get it I almost fell over. :D
This bike looks brand new.

Outstanding!! And I know exactly how you feel, I had the 1100 model and it was a total kick in the ass fun ride. The first new bike I ever bought was a '78 ZR1. My bad knee made me give up the ZRX1100 and I know the mild improvements in the 1200 made a huge difference. Enjoy, very sweet ride.
Great looking Kawi retro !
Congrats ![rockon]
Thanks guys. It is really fun to ride. I am going to ride it down to Bishop's Castle Sunday.
Bishops castle is a cool place. We took the bikes down there once a few years ago.
duuuuuuude. That's nice.
Thanks will be a slower project. have to rebuild carbs , electrical system, clean out gas tank, repaint, new tires. Havnt decided on keeping it stock or doing a custom build with it. Runs like a turd right now
Nothing says "old school" like drum brakes front and back.
[Awesom]
That thing is pristine, it is my opinion that someone who chops it for a "custom build" should suffer the same fate.

Ha yea I bought it to chop it up but once I had a chance to go through it I really started to think about keeping it stock. Its in good shape not great. Looks better in pics
I may have some stock gauges for that laying around here somewhere. We got rid of a lot of old stuff earlier this year, but I still have a tub full of them somewhere...
Love those old hondas.
Those are the stock gauges on it but thanks for the offer
I had an old Kawasaki KZ400 that I picked up dirt cheap. Not nearly as clean as that Honda so I didn't feel bad about giving it a cafe racer treatment. Turned out pretty cool but apparently I never took a picture when I was done. Only this crappy "before" photo.

I also like the old Hondas. Here's the only picture I could find of my CB750 chopper project while I was working on it.

Yesterday was nice enough, I took the new (to me) Ducati out for a bit, to get to know each other. Holy crap, that's a fun bike! Gotta make a few adjustments, and I'm looking forward to riding season. Actually have a sore butt today, it's been too long out of the saddle.
Your post reminded me of this, I've always wanted monster

Anyone get out on their motorcycles today ? Gotta love Colorado for the fact that you can sneak in days like this right before a snow storm YEA ! [Dance]
Got the BMW GS out and went to lunch and then just a short ride on the Ducati.
Crappy cell pic.

Not me. Mine stays cozy in the garage on the charger until after tax time.
May make a small exception this year as I needed to replace a small part that fell off somewhere between here and California and may be swapping my handlebars out for something different. Also, need to do a full blown service on my bike as well as the wife’s.
Yep. Put 372 miles on the R1150R.
Little breezy in the afternoon but still awesome weather for a February ride!

Didn’t get out Sunday but did for a couple hours Saturday afternoon, it was great! Gonna have a free week the first week of March, hope the weather cooperates then.
Sold my Ninja 1000 and picked up the bike I wanted in the first place. It only had 300 miles on it. 2013 ZX14R with mods on it for a steal of a price. I love this bike!

07' Triumph 1050 tiger. Its a cross between a bagger and sportbike.
Sold my Ninja 1000 and picked up the bike I wanted all along. 2013 ZX14R with only 300 miles on it and light mods already done. I love this bike. I have been riding it on most days that have been above 52.

I couldn't add my pic as an attachment. Yes, I have become one of those guys.
No superbike here... Just an ancient 1975 350XL in good shape. I plan to do some trail riding this season. I plan to take some photos and just enjoy our beautiful state! Good news is that I can go 62 miles per gallon but the bad news is that the gas tank holds only one gallon! So extra gas must be taken along. Picked up a friend that enjoys this type of riding so looking for a great
spring/Summer season!
I sold my zx14 last year and I regret it. I bought it to flip it and did so; but it wasn't an easy choice. After owning 10 other 1000 rockets, the extra 400cc made it another animal. She needed quite a bit of love when I picked her up but only had 7K miles. Lots of broken or missing plastics, had been laid over on both sides and more. I decided to do a complete overhaul: full exhaust, power commander, butterfly valves removed, -1 on the front sprocket, new fairings, all new fluids, chain service, etc. Ran like a cheetah on cocaine after that. You will thoroughly enjoy that bike if you haven't already. Always brought a smile on my face if I could keep the front wheel down.

For being a big girl, I could sling this thing into corners pretty easy. To the point I could drag the foot pegs on the on ramp to I-25.

On a different note, does anyone here own a FZ09? I have been trying to convince myself to look away but I am getting the bug again.
Since a certain photo site got rid of my original picture I guess I get to post another one.
My bike is the one on the left and my better looking half owns the one on the right.
