I know all that. The point is there's always a military "guard" presence around the president. It seems obvious to me if there's a threat against the WH, the military will respond. I find nothing unusual or sinister about that. I'll also wager one of those "unarmed" Marines would do their damnedest, weapon or not, to protect the president.
