vacumed up about 3k of spent primers on the floor...starting the spring clean from the 223/9mm decap session while the nuttz were numb...
ok, all 9mm brass is cleaned via SSmedia...nice to have that done. One more gallon of 45acp to do, then onto 38's and 357's. While cleaning I found another 50cal ammo can of 9mm ammo. Pretty stoked about that!
Got a tracking number for the new "DILLON SQUARE DEAL B 45 ACP PRESS w/DIES" so went down to the room to find space for it :)
Tumbling brass, 9mm, 223, and 45A. Working up 30-06 and 45C loads. Trying to figure out when I"ll have time to do some loads for my 444 Marlin. Wondering when Elk Bomb is going to call me about some Dillon stuff.
Started prepping my 223 brass. Don't have anything to reload it, let alone the dies, but I figured I could at least clean them and measure to sort cases that need trimming, whats good to go, and then sort by headstamp for record keeping.
Swung by Graf & Sons during the road trip. Came home with a decent selection of powder and primers at pre-panic pricing.
Still no 22lr from here to MO :(
Thanks for the tip. I only got through maybe 75 cases before I starting realizing the firing pin indent in the primer had a ridge on the edge of some and was throwing the measurement off. Then I just lost all motivation since I don't have any components.
I haven't reloaded for rifle yet but perhaps I need to re-read the section in my manuals about rifle case prep while I try to track down the stuff I need/want/can-afford.
Finished up a batch of 243 for the Steel Safari. 115gn DTACs on top of H-1000 going right around 3,000 fps.
Don't give up. No matter what else is going on, there is always brass to be prepped.
My system for .223:
Deprime
Tumble
Swage
Lube and size
Tumble
Case gage to sort out the cases that need to be trimmed from the cases that are ready to load.
Trim the long ones
Hand prime all of the cases
The primed cases are ready to load when you have powder and bullets.
It's not fast, but the rounds come out consistent.
Friday: Loaded 200 .223's up. Saturday, I loaded 170 45 ACP and 200 9mm. Tomorrow will clean up the bench and decap/resize/bell and prime about 500 pcs of 9mm brass for use at a future date.
Happiness is a smiley bucket full of 1000 freshly loaded 9mm.

tumbling as lot of misc rifle brass before listing for sale. 6.5 creedmor 25-06 7mm 300 sav etc
AND considering placing an order for a 1050
Finished filling up several hundred pieces of already prepped .30 carbine brass. Gotta tumble the lube off this afternoon.
Last night (Sunday):
Loaded up the last of my 423gr bullets for my .40-65 BPCR.
Checked out the latest 430gr bullets for the .40-65, discovered that they are not from the same style mold. Not good.
Got frustrated and went to bed.
Started throwing charges and seating bullets in the 400 rounds of 45 Colt brass that I prepped and primed last week.
My son
just lugged down 3k of berry's plated 9mm tips...
I sat at my computer today and watched my powder travel about 500 miles. I should have it by tomorrow.[rockon]
worked on my sl900, i'm about ready to sell the frig'n thing. Had 9 hulls out of 50 that didn't get the right charge weight on shot.
Two tumblers are humming away downstairs, lots of sorting and prep is on the bill for today.
USNRigger
Made 8 rounds of 45acp with my new Dillion. First time pulling the handle on a Dillion. I think I like it :) Now I've gotta go pull the trigger on these to see if they go boom the right way before doing any more.
Nothing. Again. This damn work thing is really cutting into my casting / reloading / video game / beer time.
Drywall..
Loaded up 3,000 rounds of 38 Long Colt with Montana Gold 142s and Titegroup and made a bunch of 223 into 300 Whisper/Blackout.
Loaded 2K rounds of 147 9mm. Loaded 500 rounds of .40S&W. Loaded 50 rounds of .45ACp for the Chrono. Put a Volquartsen trigger in the 22/45 Lite. Put FO sights on the Kids 10/22. Sorted a 5 gallon bucket of brass. Cleaned the bench. Put together a new bolt and carrier for the .450 BM.
Today was the first day I finally got some serious reloading done. Didn't keep a count, but pretty much filled up a 30 cal. can with .223:
Loaded 200 more rounds of 40 S&W. Sized, de-primed and cleaned 200 pieces of 30-06. And 200 pieces of .357.
Quick 500 rounds of 147 9mm.
Few hundred 9mm on the old Dillon!
Made up some test round for the 223.
