What if 6 turned out to be 9
There is SOME truth behind this. BMW's are no different then any other vehicle make. They leak, they have problems, and they need repairs. The difference comes down to the parts are more expensive, there are more labor hours to fix things and depending on who you go to, the hourly labor rate is more expensive to work on these cars. A lot of shops will say they can work on BMW's but they are a special kind of breed and require more of a specialized shop. I worked at BMW/MINI for a few years and I learned quite at bit about these cars. They are reliable, very luxurious but as stated earlier, they are expensive to maintain. If we you want the best fuel mileage, get some wheels like Kazoo!
And yet I've personally seen several BMWs make it past 250k with just the recommended maintenance and good care. Hopefully you're wrong! I have all the recent maintenance records and over the last 3 years, less than $1000 was put into it (and that was a couple of expensive trips to the stealership for the above mentioned radiator parts and service). Hopefully any necessary repairs won't cost more than $8000/year... because that's how much my current car payment and depreciation is costing me.
Good to know. Thanks.
While I'm not paying for it... I did order it and sign all the paperwork. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...ca85bd42c6.jpg
