Oh...she is cute!
Popcorn has an issue.

She started licking it about a week ago and it kept getting worse. The vet says she likely got something caught in her harness and had it rubbing against the skin. He sold me some antibiotics and a salve and a lampshade to keep her from licking it. No dog of mine is going to wear a lampshade. There's no way she would sleep in that thing, so I found a post surgical suit for her to wear.

Her butt is too big for it so I safety pinned it out of the way. She still has access to her important parts...
It took her a little while to get used to it. But as evidenced by the second picture, it doesn't seem to have impacted her ability to nap.
Hope Popcorn heals completely and quickly, very cute pup!
Come break us out!
We've got a new kid on the block... Lexi is a 6 month old Jack Russell Terrier. Her former owners were surprised that JRTs are high-energy, high-activity dogs. Yeah...shocker.
She's really shaking up the Corgi crew... But she's kind of in JRT heaven with the goats and cows and armadillos to play with.

Nice looking JRT there
I believe that's called a "lick granuloma", basically a sore from licking. Snoopy had a growth removed from his front leg and licked the wound like crazy until it was a big sore too. I used Suitical recovery sleeves from Chewy, worked great. Took several months, but it's finally all healed up and he leaves it alone now.
