I really wanted that Ionbond M45A1 in the TP...but this one came up locally. Nice gun...I hope the color grows on me. Not sure I'm in to the FDE or whatever it's called now. On the other hand, it's 1911 love from Colt so I can live with it:

Bailey, that's a beautiful gun, and I like the IKEA blue background for the photo. Maybe you could have the gun Cerakoted in blue and yellow. Sorry I couldn't stop myself. It is a nice gun and I'm jealous. I have the Colt Rail Gun 22lr version in FDE because I'm too cheap to buy a real one. And I too am not sure I like the FDE guns yet.

Finally completed my first Form 1 suppressor. "Black Betty" is a 7.6" long, 5.56 suppressor. Gonna paint it tonight and test fire in the next couple of days. Significantly cheaper to do it this way versus a commercial can, but very time consuming.
