Think i'm having a stroke

How can i tell?


I called Chase with an issue regarding my account. 2 minutes after connecting, a CSR rep answers and says Hi this is XXX [panic] He's a U.S / mainland based, speaking in english person. Then i needed to be switched to dept Y. AGAIN!! another mainland CSR with zero trace of any offshore accent.


WTF. I'm off to buy a lotto ticket.

Hope I have opportunity to verify zero before Sunday.

Maybe tomorrow I can make a quick trip out & be back by 0900 or so.

I need to take my muzzleloader out asap. My Savage (pistachio) is out for barrel threading right now, but unless there is a government miracle, I won't have my cans before any of my three hunting seasons this year.

We lost power an hour ago. Like always, it happens when there is no storm, but we've had storms in the area recently. It's always the north side of our lake that loses power. Expecting to be without for 12+ hours, as is always the case.

We bought a generator last year (portable style) that's enough to run everything BUT the AC. We had an electrician install the mechanical lockout and breaker for it, and less than 24-hrs later, we lost power for 18-hrs. This of course, was RIGHT after we made a huge stocking-up trip to Costco, so our deep chest freezer was packed full. Lets just say, it pretty much paid for itself that one outage on groceries alone (okay, not really, but having fans and ice when its 95F+ outside is just amazing).

I wish a had a bigger than portable and transfer capability.

We had a 5 hour outage yesterday and all I could really do was drag the genset out of the garage to run the AC and a coffee pot in the RV.

A friend scored a 15KW(?) propane genset on a cell tower takeout from Centurylink for like $500. Cost more to get it all setup.

And thanks a TON power company for calling me back to tell me my power is back on. I ran my generator for an additional eho knowd how long pissing off my neighbors with the noise! I intentionally indicated i wanted you to call me back ANYTIME because I meant ir!![Mad]
