He stopped a few times and I don't think he saw me but might have scented me at one point. I've seen him before but he has since developed a limp. The cams showed that he's walked along the trail by the house at least 3 times in two weeks but he can travel through most anywhere through the yard.
We also have 3 different bears moving through regularly. I think a neighbor is baiting them. I'll keep the electric fence energized until the snow piles up deep. I can disconnect the lower wires so the snow doesn't ground them out and still keep the upper ones hot. I do like that the bears respect the fence. Good thing they don't wear rubber soled running shoes.
Might need more copper in his diet.
Can you get a permit for a bad bear?
