Do you use their popper or just the normal decapper?

Primed 93 rounds of .45 Colt.
I bought 100 wet tumbled cases from Maverick reloading. Received 103. Seven were too short. Three are S&B that measure at .206 in the primer pocket so I am guessing they were crimped? They did not accept the primers as easily as the others, so I set them aside.
Thanks for the offer. It's only three cases so not a big deal.
The short ones aren't FTX short. They are 1.270ish, I trimmed all to 1.275. The shorties I will turn into snap caps. The Ruger manual says it's fine to dry fire the Blackhawk but some hot glue or silicone will make me feel better about the firing pin.
Several years ago I shortened a few thousand Starline 38 Long Colt to 38 Super length for a true rimmed 38 Super.
At the time 8 shot 38 Super revolvers were stupid expensive and hard to find. And the bullet I was using didnt get along well with 38 Short Colt brass. So I ordered a 38 Special trim die from CH4D for the Dillon trimmer, shortened it by .310 and got to work. It worked well and it went fast. The trimmed brass was 100% functional, but it was not as good as I had wanted. Then in 2014-2015 Smith came out with the 929, an 8 shot 9mm revo. My 627s got pushed to the back of the safe.
Fast forward to now... I decided to load up some 38 Special +P+ ammo for my old 5 inch Smith 38/44 Heavy Duty which is basically 38 Special in a 44 mag frame. I decided to trim all my Starline +P brass to the same OAL because they were off by 4-5 thou. I broke out the Henderson trimmer and now they were all to within .001 of each other and have a nice chamfer and deburr. You cant do short calibers like this on a Giraud trimmer. Anything shorter than 223 sucks and anything shorter than 300 Whisper/Blackout wont work.
Then I remembered my 38 Shemedium brass. I got to work on it last night. Soon all of it will be better and the little OCD twinge wont flare up when I think about shooting my 627s.
The bad part is that because this Henderson idea is working so well, now I have to do 500 pcs of new 454 brass and 500 pcs of 41 Mag brass.
Below is an old picture of 38 Shemedium, 38 Short Colt, 38 Long Colt, 38 Special.

Rearraigned things, to make it easier for others to use the reloading room. Doing so it turns out i found 1-#8 container of WC-844 and 1 of SWTactical Rifle. And a few #1 of TG , 4064 and trailboss. That SW TR works since part of a sellers reloading collection contained 850- Sierra 69 gr bthp .224 bullets. With the 844 (H-335 load data -10%) @ 22.8 grs will finish loading the 55 gr jsp's i have . Give those to the daughter and S-I-L to keep their coyote and other vermin, from the livestock they have.
I’ve been think about trying the SW Tactical Rifle for 5.56 and .308, price is good and should meter well. I just loaded up some .308 with SW AR Plus and it was very good for velocity and extreme spread.
I needed to shoot around corners.
I figured it just might be your bud lite rounds and you forgot to use your

I started load development on my 223 Ackley gas gun. It is an 18 inch Kreiger or Bartlien (cant remember which) barrel with rifle length gas.
I have a ton of CFE223 and 55gn Hornady FMJs. I used to use Varget, but it has been hard to find and it is still pretty expensive. CFE is easy to find in 8 pound jugs and is cheap.
Book max for a regular 223 is 27.8 gns so that is where I started for the Ackley.
I got to 29.5 with no pressure signs and flawless function. I hadnt loaded any more because I assumed I would be seeing pressure.
Once I chrono some and check for accuracy I might consider playing with the gas a little bit.
I am hoping to have a solid load by mid week so I can load up a bunch. I already have a 5 gallon bucket full of fire formed brass.
I need to round up some CFE223, it has been the best I have tried in the 6.5 Grendel so far.
Primers are like David Bowie- They go both ways...

Wrapped up my 223 Ackley reloading project.
5 gallons of ammo should last me a while.

9 shots, three of each load. The 4.0s were the tightest.

Formed 50 pieces of .300 blk, loaded 10 with 8.5 gr of H110 with a 168gr Nosler CC. Hit 4 of 5 on the 3x4" 100 yd gong. Decently quiet with the new suppressor. This is going to be a fun journey.
Called the neighbor, she never heard a thing. Her house is about 200 yards away.
Not in the Reloading room exactly but I finally made it to the range and my .220 Russian brass now looks like 6ARC brass. Single shot out of the AR with the gas system shut off. Pulling on the charging handle every time. I don't reccomend anyone else ever do this.
Loaded up a ladder of 7mm08 loads with Varget to be used in my WC10 (AR10). My usual powders for Silhouette don't work well in gas guns... they're too dirty or just not burning completely due to being tiny ball powders. (Staball 6.5, H380) They both work great for bolt actions, but not so much for AR10's. I think I'll be going to the range tomorrow or sunday to test them out.
Finally able to shoot some ladder test barnes 55 gr LE frangible bullets using CFE 223. The groups from 24.5 - 26 were fairly close, group wise. However, the 24.5 ones did not cycle 100% across 2 of the "few" AR's i tested them with. Wanted to see what they did @ 25 yds, since this will be "up close and personal" rounds for home and office.
300 rds of 124 gr fmj done for th espouses VP-9 and a few sig 320's i picked up. Noticing a lot of newer hand guns run better with the 124's vs 115's.
I loaded up some .308 to verify the load from a powder test last week. 5 round group measured just under .25" c-to-c with an SD of 5.8. I guess I don't need to do anything else other than load a bunch. I'm glad it worked as I bought 3000 of the 167 Scenars.
