I'd probably never get anything like those, don't know sheet about any of that stuff.
Damn phone is enough of a challenge.
I've got a mac laptop and dell desktop for work, dell laptop at home, android phone.. My wife has a mac laptop, ipad mini, mac server running our internet, and iphone. I'm just trying to balance everything. I use google drive to sync, but I can get google drive apps for apple devices.
I want to use one device at home just to streamline. There are nice ipad keyboards now that make them almost like laptops. Andoid tablets have had these for a while. This would take care of my work travel needs and home needs. A tablet will cover almost everything and the keyboard gives some utility if I need it. So I'll get rid of my home laptop once I settle on a tablet.
More power to ya Bogie, if you're up on all that stuff and know how it works...cool.
I'm good with my old dell desktop and a phone that can do all kinds of stuff that is, quite frankly, confusing to me at the least.
The kindle fire hd is pretty awesome
What I like about the Transformer is that it has USB ports and can run windows based programs like excel and PowerPoint.
So My soon to be BIL who ships off to basic on the 3d would like to come down to Tanner.

Wife is getting the iPhone, I'm looking at a Galaxy S4 but can't decide between the runner ups. We have to get a family plan, wife currently doesn't have a cell phone and its caused problems for us in the past when we couldn't get a hold of one another. Plus, 20% discount on plans through work, so theres that.

But I'm not that kind of neighbor.... if I borrow, it gets returned in same or better shape. Funny though.

You won't regret it. Mine is very fast, the screen is just the right size (big but not too big), and the battery life is really good. I've been really using the camera too. It's not your typical cell phone camera anymore. Pictures tend to have really good quality IMO. Similar to my 6 year old Sony camera with Zeiss lens. Shitty thing is no zoom.Quote:

Hey BC, I seem to remember you finding an online source for cheap bullets. Do you have a good website? I'm trying to find some pulled M80 ball or similar. Natchez has .308 150 grain FMJBT for like $22 but I think I can find them cheaper elsewhere.

There's lots of places down here! I've got a nice range, $60 for a family year unlimited pass (which is awesome), and there is a free public range in Las Cruces that has a pretty nice 1k range. And another range in the mountains with a 800yd range if I recall.

We had the most fun with borrowing a clay thrower from the range. The guy at the range offered it to me, with the caveat that it breaks more clays than it throws. I never had it break a single clay but there is definitely a trick to throwing the clays in the same spot every time (or even close). I shot 4/6 and the only other person who came close hit 1/4. Not too shabby for only ever having shot clays in high school with a friends shotgun!
