My neighbor has that gen 4Runner on 37's. Whatever year they last still had a solid axle in front from factory. He invited me to Moab last year and with the roof off that thing is a blast.

Yeah they are a hoot, 85 was the last year of the solid axle, unfortunately mine was the first year of IFS.
