Just north of Nederland. Currently 3 acres.

Guess who is getting blamed? Semi auto fire was heard in the area earlier today.

almost every time this claim has been made about a fire it has later been disproven.

Blame first, ask questions later. The headlines get more attention than the retractions. Objective accomplished.

Peewink mtn is an area the locals up there around sugar loaf use to shoot, I have been up there a couple times. it is also an area used by weekend night high school partiers with a lot of empty fire rings and the usual empty bottles and beer cans. I have also seen evidence of homeless camps up there as well. Could have been caused by anything.

Oh I've seen full on homeless camps, scattered all over it there.

We have a large transient/drainbow influx this year. Looking at the crap they have left in other areas, I'd bet unattended campfire.
