Yea I know people who have been approved for a refund from them. I'm shocked they are giving refunds.
Their FAG has also been updated to note the potential shift

Mick Boy posted a thread on the issue some time ago. I did post an update in the thread regarding the settlement.
Whoa... what's the catch? Why would I not want to send for a refund on my EOTech 556? (I got 6 years ago... I'd feel kind of.. dirty?)

I can't find anything about this buyback on their website other than the RMA link. They don't ask for a proof of purchase for the price and say they will refund the $ as soon as possible. Then to top it off the posters on the link say its not a $$ refund but a L3 credit. Did anyone call L3? I'd like more info before I send my pair back. Those of you who sent some back please let us know what you find out.
