Homicides in Denver hit 9-year high with 50 people killed in 2015

The "high" is 50 for 2015 which puts the city/county at the 2006 level (51). Typical statistics provided by race, gang, and cause (37 by firearms). In 22 of the cases no arrest has been made (44%). Still a long way to go to the 90s and whatever happened in 2004 that caused it to spike to 87.

No comment section for me to point out the 2013 gun laws, with selective LE presence/enforcement, are making a difference.

So, our black community has a gang violence problem. How does legislation against law abiding citizens fix this problem? Sounds like common sense gang legislation would be more productive.

Actually yes it was. It does not state that one minority homicide rate is higher than the other. If you read the list, you're hard pressed to say black or brown on a lot of them. Gang related yes... One color no. Still a racist fucking comment
