Stihl Chainsaw Rebuild

Have a 16yr old Stihl MS290 that’s tired, compression low. Suggest someone/shop to rebuild it for me.

Ace Hardware has some saw shops that will rebuild. Sounds like rings.

I would probably call some Ace hardware. SOme have a different policies on those customer rebuild stuff.

Meanwhile, you can probably "borrow" a Stihl Chainsaw from someone here. I am sure someone here owns a Stihl Chainsaw.

I don?t have anyone to recommend near you, but if you look for the authorized dealers they will either repair or know someone who does in the area.

not super close to idaho springs, but the Big Tool Box (ACE) in Centennial works on Stihls.
