Is it just me?
Begin rant: Is it just me, or do any of you out there get sick of seeing gun ads (or other ads) offering to sell run of the mill, easily available, used items at new or higher prices? I know, supply/demand, laissez-faire, open market, free speech, no paperwork, blah, blah. But seriously, I get sick of seeing ads like, "WTS: one like new, current issue nickle, price: 10 cents!" or "WTS: excellent 3rd Gen G17, $650." GMAFB. Sorry, rant over.

It doesn't really bother me. Free market man. Anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it anyway. One guy might think it's not worth poo another guy might think it's a steal of a deal.

I don't like seeing the ads either. I feel insulted by it (how dumb do they think I am to pay that much?). Only for a few seconds though, then I get over it.

Yeah, it's only for a second or two, and typically only when the price isn't in the title. I guess I'm just getting grumpy as I age.

The main reason I started posting on this board more often was because there were what I thought were really great deals. Of course I can't afford them most of the time, but one day... Then I go over to other sites and see pawn shop prices (actually my local pawn shop has lower prices) and it irritates me.

Breaking news remington 870 tactical like new 800.00,,, LOL

Yeah....It grates on me a bit to see "VGC older 10/22, less than 1 million rounds down the pipe, no sights, $350 or trade for newer SUV".
What's worse is when the next post you see is "SPF" about 30 seconds later [Bang]

I just laugh and keep moving along. No use to get worked up about something that you have no control over. To each it's own.http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/images...s/twocents.gif

Have you ever pictured some guy saying, "Yes Honey I'm trying to sell my guns but nobody want to buy them. I'm really sure my Mossberg 500 is worth $3000."
