Who makes A1 style pencil barrels, preferably with an A1 front sight base installed?
I want a 20" barrel for a retro A1 build I'm going to start.

Krieger does custom stuff and I saw on their site a few offerings for AR15's... Though to be honest I'm not sure what your nomenclature means... I'm an AR15 noob.
Gunthings.com is offering the kits with the sight block already installed. http://www.gunthings.com/

Well, if worst comes to worst, you could buy an A2 barrel, send it to ADCO and have the profile turned down.
It would measure aprx. .625" in diameter at the front sight mounting area.Quote:
