What you are describing is normal for a production pistol. The factory cannot afford to hand fit every trigger so they find a happy medium that drops in.
The fix? Have an oversized trigger such as a Grieder installed. This is not the same as a "trigger job" however where the engagement surfaces are precision honed and polished, springs are tuned and the internals are massaged for a virtually frictionless action.
