I'm putting a new barrel on an old Mauser action and will be cutting it down to desired length, does anyone have experience with or preference for a barrel crowning tool that doen't require a lathe? [Help]

He can't hold a candle to you, my friend! But, if one was interested in trying it out for himself, it seems like it isn't that hard to do...!

The disillusionary thing about that vid-for what he has invested in the crowning tooling it is probably more cost effective to have a Smith do it for a single rifle. If you are doing multiple rifles then the cost of tooling to do it correctly (lathe) becomes prohibitive.
