Yep, I was bored today, so I decided to make a sling attachment. I might just have to make one that goes on the buffer now...

Thats pretty cool! How do ya think it will hold up in a zombie attack? I made a hand guard for my Springfield Scout out of paracord, that turned out cool as well!! [Beer]

I have no idea how it is going to hold up. I would think it would be fine. I am taking it hunting all this next week out here, I'll see how it does with that.

I really like that as well. Where do you learn the technique for stuff like that? Is there a website?

I learned that Knot stuff in boyscouts and fishing knots too. Just apply that to a guns and wallahh!! [Coffee]

It is called a solomon knot. It's really easy to do. I just looked up pictures of it and figured it out.

The POF has a giant heatsink as a barrel nut... I hope that removes enough heat to keep it from melting. Even without it though, I don't think that I, or most of us will be putting down the ammount of rounds in the time duration to actually have to worry about that problem.

thats what I was going to mention.

once you start dropping zombies, your barrel might get up to 1000 degrees F.
