Portable Shooting Bench
So I've been thinking about building a portable shooting bench to take with me when I go shooting in the mountains. I've looked at the ones at Sportsman Warehouse and Bass Pro but they just look like junk. I was wondering what you guys had made up, so let's see some pictures. Thanks.

I think member "Spleify" does projects along that line. Great guy and I am sure he could brew something up to your requirement/needs.

It's not homemade but it's really a fantastic shooting bench. RCBS RASS:

Not the best pictures of the benches but you get the idea. Used buffet table legs and particle board. An extra piece of wood under the front legs so the legs can fold over each other.
I think I roughly followed these plans http://www.californiavarmintcallers.com/shotbnch.htm
I added metal around the edge to stiffen it, protect the edge, and to keep stuff from rolling off.
I can take some more detailed pictures if you want.
The side is cut out so you can sit next to it, My boys would rather stand and shoot from behind.

I have one made out of diamond plate aluminum I'll post a pic tomorrow when it's light and I can take one, I'm with you the store bought ones all look cheap.

I wanna build something like this, but I don't have a place to park one. Talk about portable! I envision one on a little larger trailer, with storage boxes for all my target shooting crap, a cooler, a water jug, a rifle rack, etc.

I like the table benches just would need to think of a way to add a seat so the kids could sit down. The trailer ones are cool but a bit much for what i need.

DB1285 that is a pretty nice looking bench.

Nice bench! Why the red bullseye? I like the carry handle and gun rests.
