Prayers needed!
Sorry, I didn't know it was old. I received it in an email today and had not seen it before.
We are asking everyone to say a prayer for "Darkhorse" 3rd Battalion 5th
Marines and their families. They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they
have lost 12 marines in 4 days.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread if more people could pass it on
Nothing has been in the media about these guys because no one seems to care.
They are:
Justin Allen, 23; Brett Linley, 29; Matthew Weikert, 29;
Justus Bartett, 27; Dave Santos, 21; Chase Stanley, 21;
Jesse Reed, 26; Matthew Johnson, 21; Zachary Fisher, 24;
Brandon King, 23; Christopher Goeke, 23; Sheldon Tate, 27.
All are Marines that gave their lives for YOU this week.
Please Honor THEM by forwarding this. I just did.
Bless their souls, oh Lord. And all the souls of the faithful departed.
May they rest in peace. Amen.

Prayers for friends and family. RIP Marines.

I pray for my brother and his fellow servicemen daily as well. God bless them. Unfortunately this claim is false and has been making rounds on the interwebs for a couple years now. That's why it's not in the media. Take a look at Snopes.

Every morning I wake up I say a prayer for all of those that wear the Uniform and are put in harms way.
The same way it was done for me when I wore the Uniform.

How recent is this?
Wondering for two reasons...
1. I'm at a major airfield now on my way out of country, but Darkhorse was the name of the unit that did CAS for us in the AO we just left. I didn't think we had any Marines in the area but I could be wrong. I was just with those guys not too long ago, I hope it's not them.
2. Make sure their families have been notified through the proper channels before you go posting names and units. There was a girl that worked with us at the COP... long story short, her mom found out that she got half her face blown off via a post on Facebook because some little cunt didn't want to follow the rules.
