More Dog Issues
I took Lola, one of our younger Terriers to the Doc yesterday because she wasn't eating or drinking and was throwing up everything she did try to eat.
He ran all the usual tests...xrays revealed a mass in her stomach and beginning to enter her intestine. He did surgery today and found a large clump of grass or hay inside her belly that she couldn't get rid of on her own.
The good news is she come through it fine and we should be able to bring her home tomorrow.
Kind of an FYI, too, for you dog owners. Be careful when your dog decides to eat some grass. It could turn into a $1500 meal.

Our dog got into the garbage without our knowing and ate a corn cob whole. One of the ones you get from KFC. Acted like a cork between his stomach and intestines, similar to your dogs troubles. About $1500 later, he was up and around trying to get into the trash again.

Jeesh. Glad your pup is ok. I hate those giant unexpected vet bills. My dog pooped out some rocks last week. Have no idea why she was eating rocks but I was really hoping none got stuck. Luckily they didn't.
