Google turned up nothing as far as reviews.
Looks more useful for a stationary filtration set-up. Filters to 0.9 microns and is impregnated with colloidal silver for bacteria. The filter is good for up to 2600 gallons. Can be adapted to 5 gallon buckets too.
Heard of/tried them?
I haven't kept up with water filtration technology, until recently. I have an old MSR Sweetwater filter and really haven't used it much.
Checkout the stock at our local Rapid Fire Bunker...they have all kinds of that stuff. Also have a real person you can talk to about it and read the cartons.
Its a berkey filter in a different housing.
0.9 microns isn't that great
Monolithic filters are 0.2 micron and silver impregnated. The specs seem pretty good for the price.

I used a pair of Sweetwater Guardian filters for all of my drinking water needs for a solid year in rural Indonesia. They used to have an accessory "viral guard" attachment for the bottom of them, I'm not sure if those still exist or not since MSR bought the company.Quote:

I have all of the ones mentioned. Sawyer squeeze is better
The Sawyer is an interesting option but the freeze warning somewhat worries me: most nights I'm in the boonies are well below freezing.Quote:

That said, it was a great filter. I may get another one, but it will stay in the house from first frost until last frost! I'll stick with boiling or Aquamira tablets for fall, winter, and spring camping in Colorado.
Picked up the Sawyer water bottle a while ago. Filled it with water out of one of the fishing ponds along the Platte in Thornton. I drank about a half bottle full. Waiting to see if I get sick. The water tasted exactly like my tap water. I think the pond is actually next to the water treatment plant, so it might actually just be untreated tap water.
