madness!
If you do want to overpay, shoot me a PM. I'll gladly rip you.... Uh... Hook you up.

Id think, best prices afternoon sunday. All the guys who over bought are going to want to get rid of what they have (they they cant use or want) and that will be the last chance they have to unload them.
Most people have the mags they want/need and mags are available at most businesses. The run is over on mags and AR's and that was the primary demand at the busy shows earlier this year. The show could be a little busy on Saturday AM but I think it will slow down early. Prices are way down from the past shows and this might be a good show to attend to escape the heat.
Sunday at the last show was very quiet after the 1st hour and I suspect this one will be the same.
Just called a friend of mine working the show, he said it was a ZOO.
How is the magazine inventory and pricing today?
Lots of inventory. We sold the few we brought for 14.
Pissed my table partner left my other 90 in the springs.
At least double the last shows attendance.

I thought it was kind of slow. Prices as high as usual on everything. Did find a keltec pmr 30 for 650, didnt buy it. Ammo still crazy and surprisingly mags were pretty high also, better deals at the shops.
I had two tables reserved, but we ended up skipping the show and went to the range instead. Sounds like I could have sold off some of the piles of mags and ammo I have left, but I still think we made the right choice. Despite a looming cloud, the weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day at the range.
I wonder how much the Magpul event affected the afternoon attendance...?
There was a guy selling Gen 2's for $65/5 ($13 each) That was the best price I saw. I did see some ridiculous prices on some other mags though.
Surprisingly I was able to pick up a pistol at what I thought was a okay deal. $90 cheaper then the price Specialty Sports had it marked at so I feel good about that.
Afternoon died off quite a bit.
I wasn't looking hard, but saw 7.62x51 Wolf Classic @ $315/1000. No better, no worse than any other deal you can find on oh, say, the TP right here. Can't say I noticed .308 prices much as I wasn't looking either. Milsurp M-80 ball was stupid high. I almost grabbed a couple boxes of Hornady .45ACP FTX @$25/20 but really don't need more. I needed 9mm Critical Defense ammo and found none. Some gun prices were still stupid crazy and there are those same dealers I see every show and laugh at, that keep dusting off the same overpriced handguns.
Dang Brian, no wonder I couldn't find you!
Yeah sorry, I was packing up the truck on Friday and had a long talk with my wife and helpers and changed my mind. We decided we probably wouldn't make much money with everybody unloading mags and the Magpul event competing with it, plus my ankle was really hurting from earlier this week and the idea I'd be standing up all day was not a fun one.
I was pricing my mags under that too - guess I'm too new to know any better. But based on the only other show I did, I'd probably just hear a lot of "oh man, I just paid twice as much on the other side of the show" instead of actually selling anything. And I spent all that time making up price tags for the guns and stuff too, LOL.
Guess I'll end up with several cases of mags I don't needstashed in the basement until I figure out how to unload them elsewhere. Pretty sure I'm not the only one... I really don't want to mess with gunbroker. :)
Going to the range on the other hand was time well spent. Got to help several people have their first full-auto experience. I love that gigantic smile that everyone gets when they pull the trigger on the happy switch. ;)
I sell for the the members @ $31.00 for a Glock 17, 17 round mag and $45.00 for the 33 round mags. non members get the higher price. I these prices are high but the supplier/manufacturers have raised their prices.
Also regarding the high prices I am selling new Glock 17s for $549.99 GEN 4.
all my Glock mags are made by Glock
I also have 30 round AK mags for $13.50, no "per person" purchase limit on these. These are from "Plinker Tactical"
The show was busy for the 1st hour yesterday but quickly turned into a normal show. I didn't resemble the shows from early this year and the show was very quiet after 1 with most of the dealing going on between dealers. There are always good buys for those willing to look around.
There is a lot of ammo and prices are way down from earlier this year. I saw a fair amount of high quality self defense handgun ammo priced much lower than retail.
I guess I'm so jaded by the 22 anno prices and the of the gouge factor that I just ignore Tanner ammo these days! Nice to see low end ARs for $700-$800 and some pistols being good buys. Kahr CW9 for $386 and S&W E-Series bobtailed commander 1911 for $949. Also saw a FDE Kel-Tec PMR-30 selling for $1100+ - silliness for a $450 pistol. Colt LE 6900 for $750 was a steal.
Talked to many of the vendors about what they would do on Sunday. Some said same as any other day, would figure out how to sell the big magazines "afterward". Some said they were waiting if a judge would delay implementation based on the pending lawsuits (sheriffs, for example). One or two said a possibility of a last 2 hrs fire sale for the 16+ round firearms, Many said gunbroker or armslist to out of state buyers.
Going now to try selling this:

I'm not too hopeful, but eh, it's worth a shot.
Went for S&G's today with Ray and just got back. I wanted to buy just (1) Tapco AK-47 30 rounder in case I pick up another AK in the ban future, however I wasn't going to pay more than $10 for it. Well I found exactly what I was looking for! For fun I peeled back the price tags and it appears that this bad boy had been around since the beginning of the panic, till today, the end. Wow, I just saved myself $30!

Yup,looks like it will be a mad dump by the end of the show.
Nobody want's to be stuck with anything they cant make money on later [panic]
Heh heh. Left wanting to sell a gun, ended up buying a Mossy 590A1 for CHEAP at an estate sale. They threw me a bone and gave me an extra Russian bakelite AK-74 mag too. FO FREE.
Here's what I don't understand: how is everyone's knowledge of 5.45x39mm so limited? It's been around for 40 years now. While it's not nearly as widespread as 7.62x39mm, it's still quite commonplace.
Not at a gunshow, no.
That was a very nice AK-74 and a nice deal. I'm very surprised it didn't sell there but there just doesn't seem to be many buying from walk-ins lately.
The last few shows have been pretty dismal for most of the dealers and they're all sitting on a lot of stock right now.
Went, super impressed by the gun prices, but ammo was dumb for sure.
Regarding Jim's last post........ word.
I found it humorous that one vendor would have standard Pmags for $14 and the guy at the next table would have the same magazines for $65 each.
