Kid leaves tomorrow to go to AIT, she wants to be a combat medic, gulp!!
Any words of wisdom for her before she goes?
I will have to post a pic of her when she was in basic tonight.

No words of wisdom...just best wishes.
Send her with our best and thank yous !
good luck..... isn't it 46 weeks or something like that?
Don't do stupid crap, don't get caught up in the drama, keep the end goal in mind: graduation and being the best medic you can.
Thank you to both of you. I have 3 daughters and although I would support their decision and be proud of them, I would also constantly be a nervous wreck.
Be proud of her and let her know we are also proud & grateful for her service.
Best wishes to her.
As far as words of wisdom-Belly summed it up.
Motivation goes a long way.
Be safe and god bless.
Mouth shut and ears open.
Best of luck to the future Angel of the Battlefield.
Best wishes, just tell her to stay away from the bad apples and stay focused and she will have no problems.
Combat medic is about 16 weeks long. Those of us that have been in a combat zone know what our medics endure and the horors of some of the combat wounds they deal with. Nothing that they do in training will prepare them for that. I make it a habit of talking to our medics at least on a weekly basis and ensure that they are being taken care of. God bless'em all and good luck to your daugther.

Wish her good luck and thank you for her service!
