I hate this place. What do the women folk see in it? Hell probably has an Ikea store.

You should find Baileys guns. He should be somewhere around there.
I only go for the Horse, er I mean meatballs.
Inexpensive storage and lighting solutions, mostly. It's great for college kids just starting out, too.
Personally, I don't like the Swedish Modern style of furnishings, but the shelving and storage stuff can't be beat.
Now, the shuffling, slack-jawed cattle that shuffle around and block the aisles as they scratch their butts in contemplation are enough to drive a person up a wall, male or female...
I lucking fove ikea. I don't care who knows it.
Take something to start a fire in case you get lost in there.
Ikea is anti guns. No thanks.
Stop it. Or I'm gonna go home.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAA :)
ain't never been to ikea - ain't never gonna neither
Never been there but don't you have to assemble all that crap yourself? Why in the hell would you want to do that?
Everybody loves Ikea at first because they have been told that they are supposed too.. Once they buy a few items and realize that it built as cheaply as the crap you buy at Walmart and Target the infatuation ends. I went to the one in Minnesota once.. once..

FIFY
I made it out. Two desks for the kids home school, candles and candle sticks for the boss. I got lunch at the brewery in Castle Rock. I never did see Bailey Guns there. He must have been in the cafeteria.
Never been there.. heard they've got some awesome Swedish meat-balls [Coffee]
I try not to buy things that are not made from solid wood, steel or a durable alloy, or space age polymer. Everything else is poop.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
So where did the OP finally find Carl? Kitchens, I'll bet.
was just there yesterday, had to take the 1 ton just to pick up the stuff the wife and daughter bought. Decent stuff for the tween/teen rooms. I'm tired of "OAK" that all the other box stores have. Ikea stuff seems more well built than the Walmart China stuff. (same goes for "America"n Furniture Warehouse)
So, Yes, I've been to Ikea.
Decent food cheap too.
I went once to buy some minor kitchen stuff and look at their econo space saving apartments.
Every one likes to hate on Ikea and they always say their stuff is cheap and poorly made. Newsflash, it's disposable furniture, and YOU build it. I am yet to have a single item of IKEA anything fall apart on me and this is after more than a decade of shopping there and moving across the country a few times. When I build this stuff it gets put together properly with heavy duty adhesives and I use a drill with the right attachments so I'm not turning their little wrenches for an hour to get one screw set.
I just built an entire toddler room a few months ago and threw it all together for around $500 and the stuff is SOLID! If I would have got the same stuff from some fancy furniture store, I was looking at dropping about 2-3 grand. If you want a piece of furniture to hand down, you are going to be paying 5-10 times as much as you would at IKEA.
+1
I can't say bad things about Ikea items, because I have over 20 years of experience with them.
My parent's $150 kitchen table+chairs lasted over 15 years (bought it about 1992 )
I bought a desk for $100 at around 2001, and i use it at a basement now. I think I assembled and disassembled (screw and unscrew on mdf) over 8 times since my purchase.
I don't think it will be steady enough to handle one more assemble and disassemble.
I Do not have $$$$ to buy stuff from Scandinavian design, oak express, or other high end stuff. Quality is better overall than AFW shits relative to $.
