I'm assuming you haven't posted because the father duties have already begun.
Many congratulations to you and the misses. I pray mom & baby are doing well.
When you get your feet back underneath yourself, you'll have to tell us about your daughter (name, time-of-birth, weight). And if you have any funny I'm-about-to-be/I've-just-become a dad stories you have to share those too.
Isn't it amazing how you can instantly be so much in love with and concurrently terrified of such a tiny little person? It's easy to dedicate every moment to them when they're very young, but give them less as they grow older. Providing for the family, just taking a little time for yourself, too tired to go out and play with them, too macho to sit and have a tea party with your daughter. These are all easy things to slip into, but you never get those missed opportunities back. As parents we'd lay down our lives for our kids but we get too busy/tired to give them 30 minutes of quality time. Remember how you feel now & carry that with you for their entire lives & you'll have no regrets later.
