I just walked into the city library and the first book they placed in front of the entrance is "Arms Control Policy". Am i really paranoid or is everyone and their mom trying to join in on the gun control BS?

Are you sure that was the title? It wasn't "Mein Kampf" was it?
It ebbs & flows over the years but the amount of attention the issue was given after the shooting in CT seems to be more organized than what occurred after many such events in the past. Various politicians and the media have hung onto the topic longer this time than I remember previous events causing as well. Percentage-wise, less people own guns now than at times in the past and it's easier to demonize the minority so I don't see the issue ever going completely away. It may subside for a while but we are never more than one mass shooting from having it flare up all over again.
I only know two other people who actively support gun ownership in my school, you simply can't said you support gun ownership in school anymore, everyone treat you like the devil. But anyone who openly said support of gun control or gun ban immedately became the star of the class.... I heard back in until the early 80s, high school seniors used to have shotguns in their trunk for duck hunting after school, i was born in the wrong time, wrong place.

People tend to forget that we are at war with an ideology that has been brought from the Middle East to wage war specifically against us. The last thing people should be thinking about is abandoning the 2nd but alas people are morons and we are too evolved to be in charge of our own security right?

Too much money in arms for them to go away.
too many politicians getting a piece of that money.
I can tell you from personal experience that I seem to be at war with long time friends over the 2nd Amendment. It certainly has me questioning the sanity of many people given the current situation.
I graduated in 2003 and half my high school had guns in their cars during pheasant, duck, and deer seasons. The teachers and admin didnt bother us because we didn't talk about our guns, it wasn't a big deal. We were more concerned with where the birds/deer were.
Its cyclical dependent on the politics of the day. Unfortunately, it looks like we will be stuck with "The Party of Entitlement" for a while.....keep your powder dry.
Most heard defense to anti 2-A was,
'Tyranny? This is United States! It is not going to happen!"
Oh sure......My guess is at least 33% of top G30 countries faced some kinda crazy coup, tyranny, and dictatorship in their past history.
I'll repeat it twice;
“Be not intimidated...nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency.
These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice.”
― John Adams
Thats right, my arms control policy is that I control my arms.
That book can be used as a target when reading it is completed or the pages can be used for TP in an emergency..[LOL]
Better yet, check it out and never return it. Pay the fee for a lost book and keep it out of the hands of young, uneducated, impressionable minds.
Paste every image of a firearm you can find in it
Or, since it is a book on gun control, paste in pictures and articles explaining proper grip, trigger control, sight alignment, etc.
