Where are you going to find an extension cord that long Ray?
I'm taking flying lessons, so I don't have to be anally probed...
Have you come across the video where the designer/builder of the bike (but not the rider) gets on to show a reporter how it works, and silently launches himself into a car across the parking lot?

What a way to rocket yourself out of the gene pool.
Electric motor=instant torque. I had to replace some of the hybrid batteries in some of the Chevy volts for a recall for leaks. I was pretty surprised when I stood in it.
Competition is one of the best ways to foster technological innovation.
I'm glad to see this kind of thing gaining popularity.
And no helmet to top it off
Pretty sure there are several all electric drag cars. I'm thinking a old RX-7 or 323 or something running 10's.
I've seen an all electric first gen Mustang as well.
What a case of whiskey throttle.
Start with RC, same stuff, (Brushless motors, ESC, Lipo batterys) just smaller and cheaper:

You gonna let Jim ride on the back? You know he's got his heart set on it.
I was watching some YouTube videos about this fellow who owns a street-legal electric car that was breaking record after record on the drag strip. The amount of torque they put out is very impressive. The owner also switched the battery pack to Li-ion and this dropped the weight the by 700 lbs and shaved almost a second from his quarter-mile run.
I have to admit, these electric vehicles got me thinking about buying a Nissan Leaf and taking it to Bandemere on the weekends... :-)
Not sure a stock leaf is going to provide the performance you are seeking. Just a guess.
Not even if I bolt on a wheely bar and throw on some slicks?
