I'm thinking there's a new bar.
"Our fear is that these firearms are high-caliber firearms that if they got into the wrong hands they could certainly be used in a nasty way."
Yeah, those firearms sure look disturbing!
By Australian math, those guns average out at $10K EACH ($3M for 300 guns). I so very dearly wish I'd sold my last .177 pellet gun in Australia instead of on GunBroker....:(
There was some discussion on this over at FALfiles before it turned into an argument as so many threads there are apt to do.

It says "...Glock handguns (plural) worth $10,000". Maybe it's the aggregate value of all the Glocks they confiscated, not just one of them...
"Detective Superintendent Jon Wacker..."

Man that glock must be made of gold and diamonds. Or maybe the awesome G18
"As well as the Glock handguns, the haul contained military-style guns such as AK-47s, MP5 sub-machine guns and rifles featuring telescopic lenses."
MY GOD! The humanity! Think of the children being picked off from miles away with those evil, assault telescope lenses!
Most people are shocked by these figures yet I know a few dumbass around Denver that purchased AR for 2 or 3x their value and they weren't banned.
I know that there may be some Australian millionaires on here. Road trip? Any one got a dually?
*GASP*
No, but my 3/4 will easily pull all 4 tons of ammo and the cache. It's just the matter of fixing some wings to it that has me stumped.
