And everyone will remember the great run on Sriracha of 2013.
I will be a part of it. I love that stuff.
Someone was talking about SHTF, this is mine...I live on this stuff...
I stocked up a good supply last week when I heard this.
I think they need to relocate here in colorado! Let them build a factory in commerce city, nobody will mind the smell over there.
I don't understand why any company chooses to do business in that shithole California. They make it so hard to do anything.
I lived in CA for 11 month, 18 days and 6 hours and I can give you a very basic but very true pointer: Kalifornians are clueless.... They think their state is the center of the world when in fact most people see it as the bowel. A vast majority of them will NEVER think about leaving and living anywhere else, yet, they have never traveled outside of the shit hole they call home.
Got burned out on that stuff years ago (pun intended).
I'm sure the plant has been there for years. Now residents have a problem? How many are new transplants?
Bought one of the industrial size bottles just before I heard about the plant shut down. I should be able to ride this out.
Besides...Twinkies and Ding Dongs are back on the store shelves. Life isn't that bad.
Well it'd be a complete abandonment if they didn't. It's the thumb in the eye to those f***stain progressives that they stay and continue to operate there. One of the best gunshops I've patronized ( www.riflegear.com ) is wall to wall with EBRs and I know for a fact that they've done a HELL of a lot to educate southern californians on their 2nd amendment rights and help them buy and enjoy ARs (bullet buttons, 10rd/30 pmags, etc). It's hard to find a time when that place isn't packed with people (especially the khaki & polo shirt variety), who then go and tell all their friends that "Hey you know, guns aren't so bad". I think they do an enormous job on changing the political landscape considering what a seemingly-impossible task it is. Every little bit helps.
In regards to stocking up, go to your local asian market. You will find at least 15 varieties of chili sauce but with no rooster.
...Oh yea KALI SUX!!!
Meh, I'm not a fan of sriracha. I'd rather have peri-peri sauce from Malawi or South Africa. I would have loaded up on Nando's when I left Australia if I'd realized I could get another 9 kg in my bag.
I heard recently (granted it was from a beef jerky lady at Tanner) that they were being allowed to start operations again... I haven't been able to find anything on that though. Maybe my Google-fu isn't strong today, but also the most recent stuff is from late Nov...
