Looks like the truck was in 2wd.
The Toureg v10 has 500hp out of the box and an ungodly amount of torque, not to mention awd.

It's all about the tires in the snow, and getting traction. In that video they are on snow covered dirt, not exactly a traction rich environment.

Who has better tires? better traction? lower center of mass? more torque? better electronic traction control? better driver?
