Doesn't help that he sounds dumb as a rock.
I am not a fan of poser at all. I see posers all day on the road. (see my signature)
Although it was funny to see poser getting called on, I DO NOT appreciate him cussing the fake poser out.
Glad that this guy (person who is confronting) was living in the US. IF he was cussing in front of some kids in the 3rd world country, he would've been ASP'ed w/26" baton on his face. Leave the guy who is confronting with $45k worth of cosmetic/reconstruction surgery.
This really gets me.
Why wear a fake military uniform to find women/girls at a local community college? (video appear to look like local jr community college)
This poser idiot should've wore Blue Chip company uniform polo. It would've got him hotter/cuter/better chicks.
Of course, he has to buy a fake business cards with number as well. If her friend ask Cisco/GE employee to find their name at the directory, they can simply say
"My name is not on the company 411"

I understand his anger, but her should have kept his language in check.
Should have kept his language in check. Sad that someone was sticking up for the dbag.
There is a time and place for everything. Using the NSFW language in front of kids to call someoone out was a little out of line IMHO.
I totally see where he's coming from, and because he lost friends in combat, I understand his passion and intense emotion, however, much as I hate posers and impostors, I agree, he didn't have to swear as much, if at all. Yet and still, anyone who puts on the uniform who has not earned that right (IMHO a uniform is not yet complete without belonging to a unit and putting on that unit patch) is a colossal POS, and should be tarred and feathered in public for all to see.
Fuck that. The guy had EVERY right to cuss him out ANYWHERE! I get tired of all the PC BS. Kids hear cussing everyday worse than anything that guy said and for much less of a reason. To have that be what is being called out tells me you don't get it and probably never served. That man paid for the right to wear the uniform in his own sacrifices and in the sacrifices of those around him. Many times that sacrifice was the ultimate. The fact that he was ONLY cussing is a testament to his reserve. You learn in the first 24hrs to always have a cover on and to have your ID. Those that claim to have served and did not, should do hard time. Those that defend it in ANY way should get a beat down.
Cussing..... Really???? That is what you took away from that video? Incredible.
Military bearing. He didn't have any.
Wait, wearing Cisco clothes gets you laid???? What about Juniper?
I'm not ex military but that pisses me off. Good for the guy calling him out. Language was fine. It's college
Yeah... I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the "F-word" pretty well takes the place of the comma, exclamation point and period in most grunt's vocabulary. It's a habit that takes a long time to break. Roll with it and turn your disgust on to the no-talent ass clown trying to claim recognition he didn't earn.
"Oh the LANGUAGE!!!!"...Give me a break. You may as well defend his little poser ass.
+1.
I never was in the service, but I come from an "enviroment" where portraying yourself to be something you are not is unacceptable, leads to consequences and hell, the patches are even protected by a copyright...
Wich leads me to ask: how is it that anybody can get at the DMV a 10th mountain division license plate without having served in it???
Respectfully disagree. Language, in and of itself, does not possess any inherent evil or "badness". Rather it is what's in one's heart that establishes intent. For example, one may say to another "bless your heart" but secretly hold ill-will against the person to whom they are speaking. Meanwhile, a friend may jokingly call another "a dumb sumbitch". Which of these statements reveals the true heart of the speaker? Law of Nature, meanwhile, makes it pretty clear that homosexuality is an aberration of normal behavior. So to compare language and homosexuality as being on the same moral scale is incorrect, I think.
To me, these guys simply put the fear of God in the dude. Perhaps he'll think twice before putting that tab on next time he heads out the door.
Finally, found a good quote by Patton on use of language.
"When I want my men to remember something important, to really make it stick, I give it to them double dirty. It may not sound nice to some bunch of little old ladies at an afternoon tea party, but it helps my soldiers to remember."
Remark to his nephew about his copious profanity, quoted in "The Unknown Patton" (1983) by Charles M. Province, p. 184
I see mother wrong with his actions. I would have torn shit off. But then I'm not known for my patience
I have many times put the "fear of god" in someone with out violence or swearing. Swearing is not required for that. This is not to say that I don't swear. I do. Typically at customers cars. But I don't in front of a customer. It is called self discipline.
I have been out with some guys and we were cussing while we talked to each other. Then a family sat next to us. So when I noticed them coming over to sit I told the rest of the guys "Family show now" and the swearing stopped.
There is a time a place for cussing and swearing. One of the times that it is not appropriate is when you are chewing on someone. Don't care if he is a poser or not. Still not appropriate.
My $.02:
As others have stated, a grunt will usually punctuate with a few expletives between the growls, barks, and "hoahs", and it took me a couple of years to break the habits (some of which still remain after 19+yrs) [LOL]. The guy was obviously passionate, and emotions took over his brain/mouth. Who hasn't had that happen?
Either way; another scumbag was exposed (I think they smelled blood at the AR670-1 blank stare), which I think should be the main point.
next they could have commemerative Seal, Recon, and Ranger license plates. You want to commemerate these units or these VETS? Join the military and actually do something and get in these units, no live off somebody elses sacrifice and heroism. I think the plate is bullshit.
Used to have to prove that your family homesteaded here in order to get Pioneer plates too.
U.S. Army Ranger Arrested For Calling Out Stolen Valor Offender

Ok. I was in 75th and here is my take on it. I don't think the language was foul, especially for a grunt. While it looked bad for the poser, if he would have been in a town by one of the 3 Ranger battalions, there would have been no words spoken. Just an ass beating. No cop would have said shit either. The poser was lucky, the ranger calling him out was reserved. There are a million ways we can armchair quarterback this but until it offends friends you watched die, you have no idea how you'll react. Keep posting your "I would have done this, or that" stories here...I treat them as the same words from the poser.
For all of you complaining about language.. Here is a special report on training for 18B's.. (and before it starts - yes I know 18B != Rangers, but you get the idea)
Oh and one other thing for the people upset about the language - you're ugly and your momma dresses you funny.
