Saw this, this morning. Wish the lady could film better. At least it looks like her poor filming is due to trying to concentrate on her driving. Wonder why it is titled Redneck roadrage though?
She's driving slow in the passing lane with her focus being on her phone and filming.
Tickets for both parties as far as I'm concerned.

She was passing other, slower vehicles in the right lane, and notice she stopped in a left turn lane. She was intending to turn left at that spot to begin with. People that get pissed off by the driving of others amuse me, I learned how to go around them long ago.
The dick in the truck deserved what he got, IMO. When she stopped she should have got out and mooned him.
I try not to play the road rage game. There was a woman who used to work for our company who flipped off some guy who cut her off on the highway. He got behind her, followed her to a client's place of business, then punched her and smashed her head repeatedly into the door of her company vehicle.
He was later caught and charged via security camera footage from the parking lot, but that doesn't undo potentially being killed all for half a second of inconvenience.

If she is passing people that are in the right lane then she is abiding by the law and there is no issue. Now if she was driving in the left lane for no reason and not actively passing people, like I see so many drivers do here in Colorado, then technically yes she is impeding traffic and being an all around turd.
Sure by law she was in the right. But sometimes you have to merge over and let some hothead pass you and get there 30 second later, or be tommy tough tits and get beat by a Louisville slugger on the side of the road. There's a place and time to be confrontational, the road is never the place.

Not saying somebody is going to write that many tickets, but these are tickets that can be issued.
Will she be convicted of all if taken to court... not a chance. Probably all thrown out.... but she could have been ticketed in Colorado.
In any certain circumstance while driving, most drivers break traffic laws about every 30 seconds to 1 min. If and LEO want to yank someone over, it is just a matter of waiting. I used to give drivers 4-5 different violations before even pulling them over. (most had no idea they were even breaking a traffic law)
Very true and I totally agree. But giving the benefit of the doubt, what if she had just finished passing the trucks but this guy was tailgating her the entire time? I'm not necessarily taking either side but obviously this tough guy couldn't wait long enough for her to get over....maybe he should left 5 minutes earlier if he was in such a hurry
No, not even close. Where is the evidence that she was driving recklessly or carelessly? There was no contact between the vehicles and her video shows that she maintained her lane, and speed, the entire time. Not to mention that she wouldn't be charged with both.Quote:

watch the video again, that is not a surface street, rural road maybe, no businesses in the background, all jungle and wide median, there are some turning lanes, but she is not drving down colfax, she is doing 60, no way that is surface street, i would liken it to maybe 285 through conifer and bailey, or maybe 24 headng to woodland park, she should not be blocking the passing lane

just because you are doing 5 over in the passing lane does not mean that you should sit there and prevent others from passing you.
the guy in the truck is a dumbass, there is no doubt, but my guess is she has been blocking his path and dicking with him for quite some time prior to his actions we see on the video. her attitude about being so superior in her driving and the fact that she had the right to be in that lane comes accross very strong in the video. she got so upset because he came up too close behind her in an effort to let her know he wanted to pass, maybe even flashed his lights to let her know he wanted to get by her, so she put on her attitude and stayed in his way for miles.
if there were a way to verify it i would be willing to bet a $100 that is how this all went down.

even wikipedia has a whole page devoted to left hand etiquette and no where in any country or state cited on the page does it say that cock blocking in the left lane is acceptable behavior, tailgating and flashing your lights is a commaon way to let the offender of your desire to pass,
