The ballots being turned in are shifting to the democrats. If you haven't voted, please do so, and drop your ballot of in person.
Please get any friends or relatives who are likely to vote republican to get their ballots filled out and dropped off ASAP.
This ride isn't over yet, and we can't afford to rest until after election day.

I'm really hoping it's too little too late. I've called everyone I know and they've already voted.
Think your source is a farce. This morning MSNBC, and other liberal news announced the GOP had turned in a record # of ballots with more coming.

Interestingly, motivations like that are double-edged. It could motivate dems to stay home because they think "ahhh F-it, we've lost anyways". In fact, it's been said that when one side is losing and it's advertised, it's more of a motivator to stay home, then telling those same voters that their candidate is winning.Quote:

After 2012, I simply have stopped "getting my hopes up" based on predictions. Yes, I voted already, but the predictions were so off in 2012 and it was such a disaster that none can be relied upon or believed at all.

That's where I'm at. I feel I've "done my part" to include voting, but I'm not real optimistic anymore, especially with the single issue "women's rights" campaign that is being ran amongst an uninformed and or naive populace.Quote:

What more does one need, than to simply watch and listen to radio and television ads to make one's voting decision?
Every election, I try to remain cool and calm and collected...but the last few days, I'm pinging off the walls and ceiling with hope that there'll be change. I've talked with all my friends and neighbors; everyone that I know has filled out their ballot and hand-delivered it to the ballot box.
I just hope that Cory Gardner doesn't ban condoms.

Seriously. Nationwide, democrats are using female reproduction issues (control/abortion) as the sole argument to vote for them. To me that's very demeaning to women.
On the other hand, the fact many republicans think it's still acceptable to have extreme views on these issues to curry favor and approval from the "religious" voter pisses me off

Pretty much all the polls show Gardener winning but historically Colorado polls bias goes 2 points for the Republicans so for the most part Gardener has a 1 point lead over Udall. It is another truly close race.
Hope for the best but be ready for a loss.

I do believe that the current elections in our state are going to be a big success for the Republican party. I certainly hope so at least. Not because I agree with them 100% on every issue, but because I hope it will send a very strong message that 2A rights aren't a left or a right issue. It's a non-issue because it isn't open to debate or legislation aside from an repeal of an untouchable constitutional amendment. Get 2A and a handful of other issues off the table and we can get back to some real and meaningful political discourse in this country... which I believe is healthy and very much American.
