This is a buck killed in western Colorado. It is confirmed that this buck scores 311 4/8 gross. I have spoke with guys from the DOW and guys from the Mule Deer Foundation, and this is a legit kill. I will not disclose the area. I don't know any more to the story but would like to hear more about this amazing buck.

If I saw that in the field, I'm not sure I would believe my eyes. Amazing to me he hacked the rack off the skull, I'd have left it intact to the skull.

From my understanding he is going to shoulder mount it, so there is no need for the rest of the skull. You only need enough of the base plate so it can be fit to whatever mold you chose to use.Quote:
