Laying in the snow shooting across the ice at a 12" square target.
Wind was .8 mils about 3 1/2 mph
Elevation 5.7 mils
Not the best place to lay prone at the edge of the lake in the cold so the groups were about 1-1/2 MOA
Life is good.
Might be heading out again this weekend. Any distance shooters interested?

Hi, do you still go to this location? It looks great, would love to shoot there sometime soon, very soon - before it gets really cold. Is this on private property, USFS land, or what?
It's private and water skiers get in the way during the summer months.
In that case, I hope you extend another invitation after water skiing season. I've shot the "precision tactical" match at CRC a bunch of times, so i have good dope for up to 550 yards. Now I'd like to get some cold weather, higher altitude dope for a few rifles. Looks like a stunningly beautiful place to shoot!
