Not surprised. They will probably over charge at the auction too.
Sucks to loose another shooting business. You have to have competitive pricing to stay in the game.
True, but this is one business I will not miss. It was good when he was charging good prices for his ammo, but he really bought into the whole panic thing. Guess he figured it would never end. Bad bet on his part. Ran himself into the ground.Quote:

Anyone ever done business through Kenosha Auctions and Events before? i'm interested in at least watching some of these items, and may even decide to bid if the prices are good...
This. Met the owner when he first opened. Seemed down-to-earth enough. The panic hit, and he never let his foot off the gas, even when 193 had dropped back into the .37/round area online and .41/round in stores. Non-competitive pricing mixed with his employing guys who wore plate carriers and talked about killing people put the business to bed for me.Quote:

Glad I never wasted my time by going in there. Kind of like Gunsmoke. Won't catch me in there unless I feel the dying urge to drop a deuce on the showroom floor.
