Surely they could've provided ear protection. I mean, come on...
Nice!
Would have gone further with round nose or hard cast instead of a JHP.
So it's a smith and Wesson so you know he isn't shooting full power 44 magnum loads. I would like to see a ruger super redhawk with full power 250-300gr cast loads on the balloon test.
I have a Super Blackhawk and some factory 240 grain SJSP that will donate to the cause if someone will put together the rest of the package.
Then we can try some .38 special and .357 magnum from my Winchester 94 Trapper.
How about M855?

-doesn't .22 ammo (back when it was available...) say on the box that it's good for up to 1.5 miles? -that sure beats 4 water balloons! [Neene1]
Bet you that wasn't a Buffalo bore round.
They should do a follow-up video where they hang a bunch of .44 mag rounds from a string and see how many a water balloon can go through.
Might just try the lswc vs the rnfp. It would be interesting to see the difference between the two.
It was kind of neat in the slomo replay, seeing the projo being captured by the skin of the 4th balloon.
That said, it wouldn't have burst any more balloons anyway, given it's trajectory.
