Quickly got tired and fell asleep in their chairs. I am glad their father was intelligent enough to provide hearing protection.

July 30, 1986 I was 9 years old, and my little sister was 8, our parents took us to our first concert ZZTop Afterburner. It was an awesome experience I'd never forget. Good job on these kids going and having a fun time.
I'm a little embarrassed but my mom took me to a Grateful Dead concert like that. I think I was 4 or 5.
I wish my parents took my to concerts when I was that age.
Audio sucks because I was standing directly in front of the speakers......

Gosh I love Dave Grohl.
Cool!.
The first "concert" I ever went to I went with my sister- Woodstock, I was only 2 and she was babysitting me..... Explains a lot...[Coffee]
I wasn't alive for Woodstock.
My first rock concert was Kiss - 1976, I was 9.

That's an awesome first concert. They'll look back when they're a little older and totally appreciate it.
My mom took me and some friends to a Kiss concert in 1977, 9 years old.
I'm curious about the gal in the red...... Oh wait, I'm married.... I can look!
My first concert.......wait for it.......... BEACH BOYS!
Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson in the early 80's. I fell asleep, it wasn't Willies fault. How Kristofferson ever got past being a songwriter only is beyond me.
Kids came with us to Van Halen at Red Rocks and to Motley Crüe at the Pepsi Center this summer. They had a great time. Mine are 14 and 18 though.

I remember my first concert was Immortal Dominion. My sister took us when we were 10 or 11. They played in Ft. Collins. First exposure to Metal, always liked it since then.
Took our daughter to ZZtop during front & rear daze in cheyo. She was our beer gofer @ 16. Also out DD once her permit was approved .
I had a terrible childhood... First concert was Godsmack/Metallica. I was 18.
Was at a Cramps concert in the early '90s. More than a couple of kids there.
I saw Dirks Bently play there last Thursday. Amazing show. I have a video of a 1yo girl in front of us dancing all night. It was hilarious.
Mine was Metallica/Guns N Roses
Well if we're talking first concerts. Mine was probably Janis Joplin with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band opening the show.
Mine was Boston when I was about 4, followed by The Moody Blues. My parents are big Moody Blues fans, my brother is named after one of them (Graeme).
I went to both nights and took the 16 year old. Grass seats on night one, but we had 3rd row in front of the left speakers for night two. Great shows! Best concert I've seen in a long time. Dave Grohl is just a great guy. The whole "are you a grown-ass man crying at my concert?" thing was hilarious.
Oh, and first concert (I'm more than a little ashamed...) John Denver when I was 5ish. I made up for it later, though.
First concert. Blackfoot, I was ten and won tickets on the radio. Had to take my mom with me. My older brother was there getting chitfaced with his friends some where.

If we really want to start the "ashamed I went" concert game. I saw Mc Hammer when I was about 12.
You took them to a Foo Fighters concert? Were they being punished? Ain't no one wanna hear that noise! ;)
My first concert was the Beatles in 1966(?) at Olympia Stadium in Detroit, my mom worked for TWA in Detroit and had some sort of connection with the front office at Olympia, I was 9yrs old, with a broken leg in a cast on crutches and almost took a header off the balcony where our seats(mom, dad, sister and me) were, front row on the balcony, great seats, but you could NOT hear them above all of the SCREAMING kids! Maybe a chord or two but nothing you could even hum to. The connection for great tickets stayed for a while and I got great seats for LZ, Pink Floyd(DSOTM tour) etc., it was great while it lasted.
