More Stupid Dumped On Starbucks
-
Heard part of an interview with Larry the Cable Guy on XM/Sirius. He was asked if he had a position about the Starbucks red cup and he said 'not really'. He said the thing that offends him about Starbucks is how much they charge for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. [Coffee]
If you don't like what they're doing, vote with your wallet. That's the only thing they understand.

SJWs have moved onto much more direct attacks on American values than attacking religion. People complaining about a plain red cup "attacking" Christianity are only upset at no longer actually being attacked about anything.
-
I don't really drink coffee and I don't go to Starbucks because they don't have anything for me that I desire. I've been a couple times with my wife as she likes coffee, but by god if I get a mostly plain red cup it better have beer in it!
-
If you order at Starbucks, tell them your name is Mary Christmas.
-
If spend $5 on a cup of coffee I want a pretty picture on it, dammit! [Coffee]

Who cares never been to nor do I ever intended to go to starbucks

I'm upset at a lot of things in context with a war on Christianity and Christmas but what kind of cups Starbucks uses is nowhere on the list. I couldn't care less about what kind of cups a bunch of whiny special snowflakes use to drink overpriced "coffee" from (and when you have more milk, spice and sugar in it than actual coffee, it no longer deserves to be called coffee).

I've posted this link on lots of postings of people telling Christians to shut up about Christmas or to go help the homeless instead of complaining. I've at my wits end with how ignorant social media makes people.

I wonder if the left has considered the subliminal message they are sending with these red cups. What happens when liberals are lead to believe red is good and start trying to change all the blue states into red states. I bet all the liberals will stand up and demand these cups be removed.

First off, the left already tackled the subliminal message by changing the political colors. Traditionally, GOP was blue and Democrat was red -- which Dems hated because it brought up the Red/Commie link immediately. In addition, red subliminally depicted angry or unstable while blue depicted calm and stable. The media changed the political maps to red = GOP and blue = Dem in 1984 without any explanation. Apparently they were successful since even self-styled conservatives use red=conservative now when they should have showing how the media's bias has been subtly altering the conversation.
Second, the media has been waging a campaign for the last 20 years to convince us Green=good because Green is the new Red. You see that as an unchallenged assumption on commercials, advertisements, TV news, etc. It's nothing more than Soviet-style agitprop dressed up for the twenty-teens.

I'm not sure if it makes me happy or sad that even the most minor problem in my life dwarfs the problem posed to me by the color of a Starbucks cup or whether it says Merry Christmas or not. If this is the biggest problem you (generic) face, you are one blessed and lucky SOB.

Shouldn't Solo be suing Starbucks?
