I didn't see what was particularly appealing about her speech.
Ya, I wept seeing her don't forget about me pledge for trump. Like I'd reject her endorsement but either way going to piss someone off. Be it the Crazy people that like her or the independents and even some libs that like him after sjw extremism pushing them center or right.
I will not tolerate disparaging the future Mrs Davsel!
You think you can compete with THIS guy?

Trump says all the right things. Historically, Trump is a liberal and has sided with liberals. I think the GOP is getting played and Sarah is getting played too.
Wubble - Palin's a loser and I think you could do better.
Don't be callin my woman a loser. She's as close to perfect as they get. It's love I tell ya

Get yer hands off her
She's starry-eyed there. Go get 'er Wubble, go go go!! :)
Who's Nailin Palin
Go watch it.
Someone's endorsement of a candidate has no bearing on who I vote for. I go with the person who has policy, character, and ideals I agree with. Trump is no more a conservative than Sean Hannity is a Marxist. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop with Trump. He only does what benefits Trump, and since he doesn't need the money, what possibly could he gain by winning the White House? That's what has me cautious about him. He's given money to the Clintons, he's supported gun control measures in NY, and he has flip flopped on many issues that he now "looks" conservative. He scares the crap out of independents, and he's too abrasive to garner the undecided voters. If anything, he's bad for the GOP, but the average registered Republican can't see through his sales pitch. Remember, this guy's job for the last few decades has been to close big business deals, he's a salesman, and he knows how to sell. He's only saying what people want to hear. He will infringe upon the Constitution, he will be a dictatorial type leader, and he will not win if he is the main (R) candidate.
I like Palin. I am not in love with her ideals or approach. She's a former governor turned reality star supporting a fellow reality star, nothing more. Granted, how the media treated her during the election in '08 was unfair and she got a bad rep for it. I suggest finding and watching "The Undefeated"- an excellent documentary about her treatment by the media and her success prior to the election while she was Alaska's Governor.
Take it back!
Crumpio can win for all I care.
This thread is about my undying love for Sarah.

Gross. Just admit it: Trump is an authoritarian and You like him because he will enforce your ideals with his authoritarian power if elected. You're an authoritarian.
Actually, I'm a Cancer - not the most compatible with the Aquarius, but we can make it work.

I have been meaning to read her book...Bossypants
[LOL]
I'd hit it.....
I know, right!
wait. BACK OFF
Not only is she smokin', she's smart in an unpretentious way. Anyone who thinks this woman isn't smart has never paid attention...other than to the liberal media that tried to destroy her.
And I don't care that she endorsed Trump. I heard what she said about endorsing Trump on the radio today and she makes a lot of sense. Especially for someone that was so completely betrayed by their party. McCain would've been lucky to carry one state if it hadn't been for her.
Frankly she's one of the great women in America today. Maybe not as politically polished as some, but to me that's part of the reason she's so appealing. Kinda like Trump. He's not my guy (unless he gets the nomination) but I get why so many people are excited about him.
How is she still relevant? I don't follow the Republican party as closely as I probably should.
I obviously agree 100%
I think Stacey Dash would make a great VP - no offense Sarah - it would give us more time together.

I think Trump's real job for the last decade or more has been "reality TV star." And I'm with you, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I think Trump is "punking" the Republican party. He's analyzed the things people are saying, the anger of many in the party and he's throwing them the red meat that they want. I don't think he believes a word of it. Trump is all about Trump, first, last and always.
I think Trump is going to start sliding in the polls as people get more serious and when that happens it wouldn't surprise me if he jumped ship and ran as an independent. Yeah, he pledged not to but so what? If a career politician broke a promise like that he'd be finished as a politician. Trump, however, is no politician and he couldn't care less about what the party thinks.
Think about it: Trump as an independent would be perfect for Trump. He'd be able to say exactly what he wanted to say and he could count on having the news media at his door 24/7, giving him all the attention he craves. He couldn't win, but I don't have any reason to think he WANTS to win. Why would he? Being president is a tough job. Everybody wants a piece of your time and you have hardly any control over your own life. Being Trump, OTOH, means you get to do, and say, exactly what you want to do and say and never suffer any consequences for it.
Trump as an independent would also almost certainly throw the election to the democrats, whoever their candidate turns out to be. And since Trump has a long history of cozying up to democrats, he would probably be fine with that.
Trump isn't running for president. Trump is starring in a reality TV show called "Donald Trump Runs For President."
Can we get back to Stacey Dash please, the important stuff.
Me is in love.....
Meh. I don't think she's aged well. I liked her a lot during her run and thought she looked great then. Now she looks like she's had a bunch of work done by the lowest bidder. No looky good anymore.
I also haven't been impressed with her reality star personality in the last few years. Really damaged the respect I had for her during the election run.
You can have her. [emoji6]
If I'd been running McCain's campaign in 2008, I'd have had Palin sub in and debate Obama with no notice. Just claim he ate some bad clams and let her jump in. The woman is smarter than Obama or Clinton (although she needs access to reference material and some prep time to absorb it). McCain missed many golden moments where he could have driven home the point that his VP choice was better prepared, more experienced, and had a better academic record than the Dems' Presidential candidate (not that it would have helped in that election -- the fix was in).
I don't understand why she and Willy Robertson have fallen for Trump's lines. Christie donated money to Planned Parenthood nearly 20 years ago and that still gets brought up. Trump praised Hillary Clinton to high heaven TWO YEARS AGO and people want him as the Republican candidate? I think I'd be more favorably disposed toward Trump if he'd run as in the Dem primary so he could tear Hillary and Bernie a new one then have Cruz, Rubio, or Carson running against him.
I think her endorsement of Trump was more of a big middle finger to the republican old guard...like McCain.
Okeedokee
I don't really know what Trump is. If you listen to what he's said in the past, he's a no-go. If you listen to what he's saying now, it's more like, "well, he's better than a democrat". I get the outsider appeal and I do like the fact he's kind of turning the process upside down. It definitely needed some mixing up.
Bottom line...the republican old guard (the establishment) and the party in general needs to wake the fuck up and realize people are looking to them for conservatism and the people are looking to them to shed the cloak of political correctness that's smothering the country right now. If I believed in liberal/progressive values I'd vote democrat.
From Sarah's FB page following Mitt Romney's televised speech against Trump:
https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...ad&oe=575A4D41Quote:
Thank You, MittTrump's favorables just rose again, as did the veil you willingly wore while being used by the corrupt political establishment who can't afford to lose their power in liberal D.C. Your speech was so silly and contradictory it confirmed the reasons Trump received tens of thousands more votes than you did in your own home state that you governed. Silly man. Could the establishment really not find anyone credible in their holier-than-thou movement to spew the deception you regurgitated today on tv?
Independent, commonsense conservative patriots: now it's our time to ramp it up, to prove even more adamantly that our movement in this time for choosing is wisely chosen by those who know what's at stake for America. The political establishment's desperation is nailing its coffin - obviously a good thing - but we mustn't let the Alinsky tactics used to destroy our We the People movement go unanswered. His shoulders are broad, but Donald Trump must not carry this on his own shoulders. Thankfully, Mitt's anti-Republican Platform speech just strengthened our own. Americans' shoulders just got bigger and broader. Way to go, Mitt.
