Anybody else watch part 1 of The X-Files premiere tonight? I used to watch this show as a kid/teen, and it was nostalgic as all get out watching them all come back tonight!
Used to watch it back then. Didn't watch the new one because I was afraid it would disappoint.
I caught the tail end, loved it when I was younger, glad to see it's back. I'll try and catch most episodes and I don't care to watch tv anymore.
Watched and enjoyed greatly. Started to feel like I was watching an InforWars podcast for a bit, but it came around. I hope it gets picked up for a longer run.
Not too bad.
Can we get a SPOILER ALERT forthose of use who will watch it on demand. There are some who could care less for football, wondering when it would start.
Thought it was ok. Was a big fan of the old series too.
I had heard the reviews of the first episode were pretty harsh, so I was prepared for worse. Someone told me though that the main critic that hated the first episode said eps 2 and 3 were a lot better.
I'll end up watching the whole thing regardless.
We watched it and liked it. Set up the DVR to record the series. I just knew the smoking man would be back and he is even more creepy than before.
I thought it was pretty good.
It thought it was pretty dang good. Looking forward to the rest and hope it stays good.
Wife is a big "X-Files" fan. I don't think we get it here where we're staying.

Tonight's episode was awesome! Reminded me of an episode back in season 6, starring Bryan Cranston

It is disappointing that they are only doing a 6 episode run.
I cannot handle commercials anymore. Spoiled by the internet to a degree that I would rather wait until it hits Netflix than suffer through the same commercials every 10 minutes.
I know that at least the first episode was uploaded to Fox's website the next day. Don't know if that's because of the football game overrun, or if they plan to do it to each episode...Quote:

I just watched last nights episode. I really like this so far. Nice and creepy in spots. Some of the mutated kids were disturbingly awesome. Looking forward to the next show.
Just caught up on the last couple episodes. Oh. My. God. The season finale last night was the biggest cliffhanger I've ever experienced! I'm ANGRY that there is a chance there won't be a resolution to the story at this point...
I must be showing my age, but still think Gillian Anderson is hot.

The Were-monster episode was great. The finale left me pissed off, but I spent most of yesterday marathoning old episodes on Netflix. The COPS crossover episode was pretty good.
