Was doing routine monthly filters and opened the top part just to look around and see my furnace, I found a puddle of water. It's turning into rust and I don't know if this is a major issue.
I watched during a full cycle of heat and saw it dripping out and onto the metal AFTER the flames shut off . I tightened the clamp but will I need to do more?

Just tighten everything down dry it up and watch it again.

I don't think so. In your first photo, the tube on the right side (which is the bottom) is supposed to have a condensate line on it. That is normal to drain back into the blower cover from the exhaust flue in the winter, but it needs a drain hose.

The leak is still coming from the same spot. Going to take it off and make sure it was positioned correctly and try again. There is definitely no drain tube nor a place of exist for drain tube.

I can see where the drain hose goes (black tube doing to black box, then out the side and into drain). Un hooked it from exhaust vent side and had water there. Blew thru tube and it seemed like it was clogged.
It seems odd that there are no pinch clamps that add pressure against the nipple from the outside of the tubing. I'll do some more reading.
After tightening the clamp the fan collected the water instead of draining out. My furnace shut down and luckily I caught it before bed. Looks like what was supposed to be the drain system is failing.
Made it through the night.
It looks like the nipple is clogged on the lower piece where the hose connects too.
I am going to try and run some pipe-cleaners thru it tonight and clean out what I can. Any other suggestions or advice?
