Thanks for the intel, kwando! [Beer]

Thanks for the info. I went with the 50% off deal from u.s. carburetor.

Considering the Yammy ef2600 sells in the $800-1K range and the conversion runs $100ish on sale. Not including the regulator and hose. It's a good deal. DEPENDING on S&H cost
Personally i'd go with the EF1000. Better bang for the buck, considering the 2600 is bulky and really doesn't run much. The EF1K will power the frige and all your camping gear
FYI, costco had some dual fuel gens on the shelf. Don't remember the details.
Use other sellers on amazon. But fulfillment by amazon=no tax. In my experience.

Yes. it was discussed here? Suggesting one place large orders (if needed) before (iirc) 3/1 or was it 4/1 ? Something about AMZ appeasing CO since they are looking at moving a hub here. Guess they have to charge tax in order to get a tax break, or incentive, from the state if they want to build.
Typical it cost too much to build without YOU giving US something for US picking your locale.
Part of it may be coming this (http://www.denverpost.com/business/c...-be-tap-amazon).
I just scored a 5K watt Generac Generator from a guy from work for $100.
I buy a lot of things through amazon for a variety of reasons, and they definitely started charging. However, if you do have a tax id/license, they will accept that and remove the tax from the total. Of course, you should only do that with things that are business-related/resale/etc. but just FYI.
I haven't looked, but would be nice if that means we can also sign back up as affiliates again.
Ok just like with guns, i buy shit on impulse. I bought this generator, and I found another one. I haven't picked it up from Walmart yet, so if someone wants it, i'll pick it up and you can give me cash. Reply on here or PM me, i'll leave it up for a few days before telling walmart to give me my money back.
Thanks Kwando!
Cheers Dave_L
Cool. I acquired a very loud generator not that long ago. It is mindbogglingly loud, but it was literally a few dollars because it didn't run at the time. It only cost a few dollars to get running.
Anyway, I thought the prices on some more name brand stuff at Costco was pretty good. Plus Costco customer service has been good to me and usually rates pretty well.
