Drudge reports Ted Cruz will drop out according to his manager.
Saw the same. I liked Cruz, but I'm happy to see The Donald come in and stir up a ton of shit. I hope he has liberals shaking.
The only thing I like about Trump is that liberals hate him.
What happened to the whole "I'm in it until the end" thing he was espousing this weekend (even yesterday too, I believe)? I guess some of those folks with the "The End Is Near" signs were right after all.
He was fairly gracious in his final sermon.
Trump also gave a gracious victory speech.
Is Kasich still in? Or is that guy still holding out for a contested convention and praying that he will be the "anointed one"
Doesn't matter I'm in for the WWE smack down the debates are going to turn in to.
I'm in for $20... Trump drops an easy 1-3 F bombs his 1st tumble with pants suit patty .
HILLARY YOU'RE A FUCKING LIAR.......... WAR ON WOMAN BLEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPP BLEEPPPPPPPPPPP
MARRIED TO BILL BLEPPPPP YOU HAVE THE BLEEPPPP NERVE.
Trump is gonna have to fight off Kasich....now it's ON like Donkey Kong!
The jackwagons running the Republican party machine have nobody to blame but themselves.
Just my tin foil hat thoughts but...
What are the odds that Dems and Repubs get together in some back room and something happens to Trump before the election: physical or scandal. Think both sides dont like Trump so... sky is the limit.
Sorry to see the last Constitutionalist in the race drop out but he did say he was as long as he saw a potential path to victory. Losing Indiana -- especially by the margin he did -- closed off any possible path. Suspending his campaign now offers a chance to pull the non-Democrats back together. Watching him try to talk to the ignoramus Trump voter this morning was aggravating but it is critical the GOP pull its collective shit together and win this one -- Cruz proved this afternoon that he's thinking about the nation rather than himself.
Has anyone bothered to check on Beck?

Poor Stifler's Aunt. Can't catch a break.
100% spot on
Only a fool would believe that. FUCK Both parties, ESPECIALLY the R's.
Time after time they folded like a cheap suit to anything Obama sent to them for passage. They as politicians have no one to blame but them self.
AS for the D's. The media and DNC are so far in the tank for HRC they're like a proctologist in an elevator with no lights or power.
Example: ANYONE hear or read about the $10K raised at a music fund raiser for Bernie, in denver last week? Of course not. How much does anyone hear about the Bern? Outside the standard Bernie has no chance, He's done etc.
Knowing a few serious Bernie supporters. Their dedication to him, sever dislike for HRC, to the point of a major write in vote in Nov for Bernie.
Not to mention his Likability factor over HRC. IMO The Bern Is the real sleeper here.
Bottom line... Trump pulls off one the most stunning upsets in American history. OR the country lowers the flag for the last time.
I was mulling this whole mess over in my head yesterday. I was trying to remember which branch of government the 'department of propaganda' belonged to.
This country is so far away from how it was designed and mandated that government was to function, I see no clear path back.
It's curious as to why and so suddenly he dropped. Like he had prior knowledge to something that was coming. Scandals, or otherwise.
Guess I'm voting third party or doing write-in. I meant it when I said I'm a #NeverTrump.
Stock up now.
Agreed.
Perot delivered 8 years to Clinton...maybe Bernie delivers the POTUS to Trump in the same way.
Even though I agree with Cruz more than any presidential candidate in the past 20 years, he brought about his own defeat by how he explained his positions on Abortion and Same-sex marriage.
I dont think its sudden, he was already mathematically unable to reach 1237 or whatever it was delegates without convention. Losing Indiana so bad before heading into trump favorable states makes it clear he'd be so far behind if nominated in the convention the voting base would go apeshit. Cruzites in Colorado or not.
If you think he and hillary are equal, I suggest you revisit the SJW thread. Abortion law isnt changing anytime soon, trump isnt changing any of that. Hillary making the retard sjw base happy doing some anti gun shit is pretty safe bet. Yes I get why Trump is not a stellar choice for most of you, he isn't for me either but it's the best we got.
Voting 3rd party made sense if say bernie/trump had been independant and that's your thing as they did cause waves. But doing so Hill vs Trump isn't "showing" the GOP anything. They fought him tooth and nail.
^^Well said.
I'm not doing third-party to show the "GOP" (as in, the GOPe). I'm doing it to "show" the Trump supporters that I value principle. Many Trumpets talk about having to hold their nose for Romney et al, and claim they don't want to do that again. Well, me neither, so I refuse to vote for Trump.
Won't happen for one simple reason: Democrats understand how the system works, Republicans don't. Even the most die-hard, ranting, raving, spitting Bernie supporters are going to calm down and vote Hillary on election day.
Oh, there will be a few loudmouth cranks who will write in Bernie but all the Hillary campaign has to do is point out to them that it was the splitters voting for Nader that got Bush elected twice and the vast majority of the D's will fall into line and vote for Hillary. That's why she'll be our next president. [shithitsfan]
The campaign to bring the young turks of the Democratic party back into the fold has already begun. I don't take write-in or third party voters seriously. Political analyst don't take them any more seriously than registered voters who don't vote. Regardless of how I want the world to be, I am reminded that this is the world that I live in. The GOP and the DNC have just about decided who they will put on the ballot come November. Any choice other than one of those two people is essentially a non-factor in choosing the next President.
Not a sentiment I agree with, but for those who pay attention, this is the type of thing the DNC and progressives are currently working on.

It's neither curious nor sudden. He said he was in the race as long as he had a path to victory. Getting stomped as he did in Indiana closed even tough but theoretically possible path he had. Suspending the campaign lets him stop expenditures and refocus his efforts. I'm going to support Trump in the general but I am amazed at how many people buy the ludicrous BS Trump peddles about Cruz being ineligible or having ties to LHO or anything else.
That's not what his published policy positions state: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions
Strange.
Do you seriously buy that or are you just being facetious? When a person has a decades long history of one opinion on a subject and then changes his opinion at the very same time he's trying to gain the support of a certain demographic, it's pretty clear those new opinions are complete and total BS.
The healthcare thing isn't even old. It was only a couple months ago that he publicly said he'd replace bama care with another government program.
A man's past actions and words define his character, not some "policy position" posted on a website.
