Is there a safe way to leave the range with a hot suppressor? Do I have to stop using it 30 minutes before I'm going to leave?
What are you guys doing?

Small wooden box? Empty ammo can?
I usually try let it cool down 15 minutes or so prior to leaving. Then I'll put it in the provided pouch that it came with and put it the case with the gun. Ihaven't had any issues.
Maybe something like a pizza delivery bag that can withstand the heat?
Options:
1) Silicone wrap.
2) Oven Mitt.
3) Wrap it in a heavy rag.
4) Put in your pocket.
They make a small towel size fabric that plumber use when they're soldering close to a wall. I believe Home Depot and Lowe's carry them. Wrap the suppressor in that when your done.

I feel like I've been too simplistic in my approach... I take off my can, letting it sit on the bench while I clean up my stuff, wait on ceasefire, and retrieve my target. Always not-hot-enough to just throw in my bag when ready to vacate the range.
Thanks for the replies, everyone.
Piss on it
Ove glove
Plumbers felt
Use your hands so it forms callouses and it won't feel as hot :P
I'm going to order a Mirage cover from HBAR. Read a great review on his work.

If you let the suppressor sit while packing up, it's usually cooled down enough to handle.
Silicone baking mat, ove glove, or if your nostalgic you can grab one of the gloves the Army issues to .50 cal crews for barrel swaps.
I just put my rifle can still attach in my gun bag after cleaning up never a issue
Drop it over your car antenna. It will cool off on your drive home.
There's numerous places to buy suppressor covers from. My choice and that of other forum members is
