Thank you for that. Really perked up my afternoon. I would LOVE to see video of their traffic stop.
Maybe at the very least take the mask off your face if you're going to do something like this!? Then...I dunno...drop your guns when the cops tell you to instead of arguing like a child?
Went about as well as I would have expected . . . LOL. Strong potato decision making. That's like waltzing into a pit bull convention in a steak suit.
Complete idiots. What the heck did they think was going to happen? [fail] Then they had the brains to argue with the cops at full draw.....LOL....Thanks for the good laugh.
Haha, didn't even notice the rifle. Had to watch the beginning again once I heard the officers yelling about it.
Anytime I hear "open carry", I pretty much always think sloppy, usually over weight, with Taurus in a nylon holster...
Stupid is as stupid does, sir.
You guys all laugh, but these are the idiots we have advocating for our side... Marching in to a Police station with weapons in full view, and MASKS on.
Pathetic. It's no wonder we can't make better progress. Sheesh
ETA: They are lucky they didn't get Darwin'ed.
+ 1000
I smh when I see stuff like this... I really, REALLY want to know what their thought process is... Are they REALLY that stupid? And the answer is almost always "yes". Unbelievable.
I understand you have the right to open carry, I understand (agreeing is a different story) that you "should" be able to walk into a police station with a firearm.... but walking in all "tact'ed" out with a rile, sidearm, vest, and a MASK?!?!?! "You never go full retard"....
Whole lot of win there fellas.
Velocitas, Opprimere,
Violentia Operandi
Lucky they didn't get shot. Duh....
The one time I ever open carried, it was in a nylon holster. I've learned since then.
I admit that I sort of enjoy watching some of the 1st Amendment Audits on the Ut00b. The best practitioners IMO are the people who walk on public sidewalks, in good weather, and they make certain that they are not carrying anything that could be considered a weapon. I am still surprised how many LEOs will become confrontational in those obvious situations.
These two could only have improved this video had they walked in yelling "Aloha Snackbar" while holding a big red button remote for their cameras. Free speech.... right. [facepalm]
The stupid burns.
Saw that coming in the first 2 seconds, kinda like a Star Wars movie plot.
Play stupid games -win stupid prizes.
Those cops should be commended from for being so level headed.
The world we live in......sighhhhhh.
I can't even drum up the thought process on why that would be a good, lawful, safe idea.
Cop Block's take on it is pretty entertaining.
Can't even comprehend the stupid those two showed and didn't die. [Shake] Full ninja with a GoPro and the do rag with a tripod? Looking for the next viral video fail.
Many of the things they did were not illegal if done individually. Totality of the circumstances here leads to both of them being charged with a Breach of the Peace. I would guess that they will pay the fine, but who knows. Some people will pay an attorney hundreds of thousands of dollars to make a point.
I am glad no one was hurt.
Good job to the officers for being as level-headed as they were. These guys are claiming that they are open carrying legally; however, every government building I know prohibits weapons. This guy is lucky he didn't get shot.
It pisses me off that we have people like this on our side that make us look crazy.
If you believe you were illegally stopped, file a complaint (on the phone or in person, but unarmed). Or sue the cop/department. That should go without saying, but this guy is obviously an idiot.
If the police would have fired at them, I believe these 2 asshats would have returned fire....
This could have been so bad for all involved.
To be a fly on the wall when these two convinced each other that it was a good idea. Holy shit what a mess.
I'ce CCW in Parker PD several times while getting printed. Once for UT permit, and once recently for 41P. There's no signage or other weapons prohibited notice.
That's not to say I would be an asshat that would OC a long gun in there (or anywhere), although (sidearm) OC in and around Parker isn't necessarily rare.
DougCo Justice Center. Of course not, it's manned with a metal detector and is, after all, primarily a court facility that the Sheriff's office happens to occupy. Hell, I couldn't even get in with a little multitool on my keychain.
I believe Castle Rock passed, and still has in effect, an OC allowed policy for town public buildings and parks.
Morons. Did the video go black about 1/3 of the way through or was it my shitty internet connection? I'd love to see the video from the police station of these twats.
This is why gun people get a bad wrap.
That being said so dam funny I had to change my shorts
Sometime they pull the flush lever themselves...
I watched the video and my son came over and used his new phrase, "what's that noise?"
I looked down and said, "Stupidity".
Cute, but didn't the dingbat with the long gun have an AR and not an AK?
Of course, all handguns are Glocks and all semi-auto long guns are AK's to the anti-gun establishment.
